IPA House - Kent

Jack & Audrey Goodsall	The Kent IPA House	Norman & Lynda Firth

The house is situated on the outskirts of the County Town of Maidstone, two miles from the town centre. It is located in a quiet private residential area overlooking the Kent Police Sports ground. The house comprises a well equipped kitchen with gas and microwave ovens. A spacious lounge and dining-room complete the ground floor. A colour TV and radio are available for your use. There are two large bedrooms each with twin beds. A smaller bedroom has one single bed. A cot and baby-chair are also available. A frequent bus service connects to the town centre and a good train service connects Maidstone to London and other major Kent towns. From Maidstone you are a car ride from many many places of beauty and interest including the coastal resorts of Kent and Sussex, not forgetting the Channel Tunnel and Cross Channel Ferries.

DESTINATION MONZA

                    The town of Monza, served from every means of transport, is reacheable by train, motorways, tube and buses to it. Not far from the town of Milan and theyr airports of Linate, Malpensa and also from Orio al Serio one.Very near from  the capital of the Lombardy, Milan that is reacheable in few minutes by car or the average publics. The famous Race Track, is easy  reacheable by Bus or if you want on foot also, in fact it is distant only 4 Km  ca. that you will be able to easily cover through the city, in the days of the Grand Prix of .Italy, particularly attractive, and it leave through the famous Park, the greatest closed park of .Europe.  The bikers can just “put” the bike in the garden .
          The position is ideal also for of the excursions in the zone of  lakes and the Alps; near to the Switzerland, only 40 Km, with her beautifull landscape; also for every  businnes in Milan  and not at last  in order  the particular occasion of the Grand Prix of Italy in September ( car racing)
          The flat  “Bissi House”   is composed by two rooms: living room, bedroom for 2 persons,(eventually + 2) kitchen, bath, veranda, garden and private parking.  Equipped of all comforts   which heating, warm water, radio, television and refrigerator and it  will be rent as “Self Catering” for days, weeks or more. Near, 50 mt., you have a swimmingpool, tennis, all kind of Supermarket and Superstore where, if you want, you can buy everything. You will be able, independently, to  spend and to organize your stay in our house

The members of all the associations of police with their companions will have a reduction in price of 20% on the every day prices; for long periods the prices will be considered  second of the length of the stay if it will be of weeks or months

          The office of the national IPA secretariat on the first floor of the building as well as a meetingroom and the club-house, named "IPA-STUFF". On the 2nd floor there are 3 bedrooms (double bedrooms), a toilet and a shower are situated on the same floor. Bedlinen is available. Hand- and bathtowels are not provided.

          In the clubhouse "IPA-STUFF" is a kitchenette equiped with a coffee-percolator, a refrigerator and 2 electric cooking-plates. Radio an colour television are a person's disposal.

Situation:

         The IPA-House is in the centre of the city, right across from the Police-Headquarters. There is a parkingarea for 4 cars beside the house.

Maison IPA ā PORSGRUNN (Hisøy/Arendal)

Maison IPA ā Kloeke

          This IPA house is part of the Spijkerboor fortress and is situated in the Beemster area, north of Amsterdam. This house has 2 living units, a large unit for 16 persons and a smaller one for 7 persons. Both units are fully equipped. Close by is the famous "Zaanse Schans" which is an open air museum of old bridges, windmills, shops and traditional costumes.
          The villages of Edam, Volendam and Monnickendam, famous because of their fishing history, are also nearby

Maison IPA ā Beukenrode

          This IPA house is situated between the villages of Doorn and Driebergen, in the province of Utrecht. This province is in the middle of the Netherlands.
          The accommodation provides 12 beds, a social meeting room with a bar, 2 dining rooms and 2 fully equipped kitchens. This house is a part of the Beukenrode estate in the middle of woods

Maison I.PA. ā  Meulenklef

          This IPA house is a chalet, situated on the campsite of "De Oude Molen" in Groesbeek. This chalet offers you 6 beds, toilet, shower and a living with colour TV.
          The swimming pool on the campsite can be used free of charge. Groesbeek is situated near the old Roman city of Nijmegen (centre of the famous 4 day's marches, held every year in the third week of July). The distance between Groesbeek and the German border city Kleve is only 12 km

Maison I.PA. ā  Welgelegen

          This IPA house belongs to the Netherlands section of the IPA and was purchased in 1986. The house is situated on the Island of Walcheren in the province of Zeeland and offers room to 39 persons.
          The house was originally built in 1894. Its condition is very good, except the white tower in the middle of the house. Recently the tower was removed for restoration and is replaced in the autumn of 1998. A special fund did partly take care of the high cost.
          You can visit old cities such as Middelburg, Vlissingen and Veere. The North Sea is about 8 km away.

          ACCOMODATION

          The biggest IPA house in the world. That consists of 20 bedrooms and 4 dormitories(2 female and 2 male for 5 persons each), situated on 1^st and 2^nd floor. Total capacity 60 guests. Every room including the dormitory, has a private bathroom with wc water, shower, toilet. Sheets and towels are provided. Two large terraces for relaxation. On the ground fllor: very large dining room, sitting room, fully equiped kitchen and a meetings room for conferences. A big covered parking place.

LOCATION

          The house is situated not far from the center of Lisbon, at a distance of 5 Km fom the airport. Subway at a distance of 500 meters and bus-stops nearby. Shopping center, sigth-seeing, zoo, etc all within easy reach of the visitor. A beautiful park ( Monsanto) within walking distance of the house, wonderful for relaxation or stimulating activities like jogging and cicling

I.P.A. house to PORTO

IPA House - Dom Lowiecki
Wielkopolska, Poland

Location: The village of Baszkķw is situated west of Krotoszyn and dates back to 1457. The Duchess Maria Leszczynska, who later became the wife of Louis XV of France, was born in Baszkķw. The house is surrounded by picturesque woods and rivers. 'Dom Lowiecki' translates into English as "Hunter's House".

Accommodation: A detached house with 6 bedrooms, sleeping a total of 13 people. There is a well equipped kitchen, living room to accommodate 15 people, television and radio, 7 bathrooms/shower rooms and 7 toilets.

IPA House - 'Muzealna' Cafe
Goluchķw, Poland

Location: Goluchķw is a village situated 14 kilometres to the south-west of Kalisz, in the Plescew district, Region Wielkopolska. It boasts the famous Renaissance castle of the Leszczynski Family dating back to 1560. Between 1872 and 1885 it was reconstructed in Renaissance French castle style for the purpose of a museum.
     Culture, art and industry exhibited in the adjacent woodland park. The 'Muzealna' cafe offers food and drink to visitors in this attractive tourist area.

Accommodation: 7 bedrooms to sleep 14 plus 2 bed-settees. Living room can seat 16. Conference/meeting room for 18. Fully fitted kitchen with washing machine/dryer, freezer and microwave. 3 baths/showers, television.
